Time to Get Started
Well, I think it’s about time to actually get this blog started. I have been on the road for quite a long time, but now I finally have time to sit down and write some entries about German. I apologize it took so long to get started.

Introducing Und Es Regnet
Well, I suppose I will begin with a little about myself. My name is Alex Seifert and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Wyoming who is studying German and history. I have studied German for the past eight years both on my own time and at the university and have lived in Germany for extended periods of time. I have plans to obtain a PhD in the German language and would eventually like to teach it at the university level.
My intention with this blog is to help those who are just starting out with German or just have a general interest in the German language, literature, history, etc. The posts will be in English, however, you are more than welcome to post comments or feedback in German.
